Photo scanning instructions
Scanning photos is fun and easy!
- Make sure that the scanning software that came with your printer/scanner is properly installed.
- If you have a flatbed scanner, place the photo on the lower right hand corner of the glass scanning bed. If your printer/scanner has only a conventional paper feed then carefully tape the lead edge of your photo to the center of a letter size sheet of paper and insert it into the same place you would to copy.
- Scan the photo onto your computer and save it in 'My Documents' or 'My Photos'.
- You now have a digital photo on your computer.
- Return to the Add/Edit photos page and follow the directions to add a photo.
